Techniques

Laser engraving, marking, cutting and printing

We choose the technique that suits the material and the job. You do not need to pick one unless your specification asks for it. Here is what we run in the workshop.

What we run in the workshop

Engraving, marking and printing, all under one roof.

TECHNIQUE

Laser Engraving

Cut into the surface with a laser, so the mark is part of the material and does not rely on ink or a coating. Used on metal, acrylic, wood and crystal.

Used on: Crystal, acrylic, wood, coated metals.

TECHNIQUE

Laser Cutting

Shapes, letters and openings cut cleanly from sheet material, ready to mount or assemble, in acrylic, wood and thin metals.

Used on: Acrylic and sheet materials.

TECHNIQUE

Laser Marking

A controlled laser process that marks bare and coated metals at the surface without cutting into them, for long-lasting equipment and product identification.

Used on: Stainless steel dataplates and tags.

TECHNIQUE

Etching

A mark cut into metal and filled for contrast where needed, suited to nameplates, tags and control plates.

Used on: Brass and stainless nameplates.

TECHNIQUE

Screen Printing

Ink applied through a prepared screen for consistent, solid-colour graphics, well suited to repeated designs and production runs.

Used on: Signs, bottles and giveaways.

TECHNIQUE

UV Printing

Full-colour graphics printed and cured directly onto the surface, for signs, panels, gifts and rigid substrates.

Used on: Acrylic, wood, metal and gifts.

TECHNIQUE

Digital Printing

Full-colour digital print for short runs and one-off pieces, with quick turnaround on paper, board, vinyl and rigid sheet.

Used on: Paper, board, vinyl and panels.

TECHNIQUE

DTF Printing

Full-colour transfer printing for suitable fabrics, used for branded apparel, workwear, bags and promotional textiles.

Used on: Caps, vests, polos and bags.

TECHNIQUE

Sublimation

Dye transferred into suitable coated surfaces and polyester materials to create a durable full-colour finish.

Used on: Mugs, tumblers and printed textiles.
